This remarkable journey began in 2010 when Yogesh, despite skepticism from his family—most of whom held government jobs—decided to pursue organic farming.

Rapid Organics is an EU-certified organic food products company with a presence in the pan-India market.

It is also wholly organic under the NPOP, US Department of Agriculture, Japan Agricultural Standards, and the Canada Organic Regime.

Rapid Organics, dubbed as the “King of Cumin”, has a massive annual cumin production of 3000 MT in the B2B domain, in India and abroad.

Gaining practical knowledge about organic farming firm, he started planting cumin on a modest 0.61 acres of land.

Yogesh faced tones of challenges as his first attempts to grow Indian spices were marred with crop damage in his first attempts.

With intensive efforts, Yogesh reached out to local farmers, on his bike, to share his vision about organic farming.

At first, six farmers agreed to join his community of local organic farming and preserved two years of learninga and adaptation, slowly mastering the art of cultivating without the use of preservatives and chemical fertiilizers.

Fast forward to today, Rapid Organic has blossomed into a significant player in the organic market, boasting a network of 3,000 certified organic farmers.

The brand serves pan-India to Organic food enthusiasts and has also established strong export ties with countries like Japan and the United States.

With his wife Aruna Joshi heading as director, Yogesh runs three organizations

    - Indian Agro, where the associated farmers can sell their produce
    - Rapid Organic, where organic produce is directly sold to customers
    - A Farmer's Producer Organization, from where farmers are trained in organic and natural farming practices

Rapid Organic and its farmers have garnered various international certifications, including EU organic regulations and USDA standards.

This credibility has allowed them to expand their offerings beyond cumin to include pulses, spices, oils, and even superfoods like chia and quinoa, ensuring year-round production for their farmers.

Recognition for Organic Agriculture:

Rapid Organics has a unique brand model of innovative contract farming, where they promote the practice of natural and organic agriculture.

This approach has guaranteed a 100% buyback policy at premium rates with 25% higher rates than market pieces, while also covering transportation and packaging costs.

Farmers receive organic fertilizers on credit without interest and are trained in sustainable practices.

Rapid Organics has earned a reputation as a leading producer of agricultural products such as Cumin, Coriander, Dill Seed, Amaranth, Fennel, Sesame, Quinoa, Fenugreek, Kasturi Methi, and Psyllium, without the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.

Rapid Organics and Mr. Yogesh Joshi have also been recognized in Business Magazine’s prestigious 40 under 40 Entrepreneurs list.

Women's Empowerment through Organic Farming:

In addition to empowering farmers economically, Rapid Organics has also been instrumental in promoting the participation of women in agriculture.

They recognized a particular gender gap in the rural farming communities and initiated programs to train women in growing organic quinoa.

Aruna Joshi has also promoted their financial knowledge by opening bank accounts and also aims to establish a women’s FPO in the future.

Rapid Organics has received multiple brand recognitions for their efforts from prominent figures like Smriti Irani and Nitin Gadkari.

Today, Rapid Organic stands as a testament to what can be achieved through resilience and innovation in agriculture.

Their story is not just about building a brand but about fostering a community of empowered farmers who are leading the charge toward sustainable agriculture in India.
