  1. Start by rinsing and peeling the carrots and beetroot. Chop them into mid-sized sticks.
  2. In a clean ceramic jar or glass jar, add the chopped vegetables along with mustard seeds, salt, and red chili powder.
  3. Boil 2 liters of water and let it cool down before pouring it into the ceramic jar along with all the vegetables.
  4. Cover the jar loosely with a lid or tie a muslin cloth over it to allow air circulation. Place the jar in direct sunlight for 3-5 days, stirring daily.
